My i10 gives 14-15 kmpl in city,without A/C. With A/C it comes down to 12-13 kmpl and I am pretty much satisfied with it. Every single comment by p4prakashb is WRONG, ABS makes huge difference in braking and it can be felt even in very low speeds, regarding airbags, they inflate at the force of impact and surely u dont need to bang yourself at something at 120kmph. Since the purchase I am getting around 13 - 14 Kmpl in city and in excess of 18 on highways, no such problem with me. Mine is i10 Magna with the old Kappa engine not the Kappa 2.

No, the car is not discontinued, its a great value for money, you can go for it. But I would suggest you to go for Beat if you can stretch your budget a little bit, its much better car than the K10.

At this price point you can get yourself a decent android phone like samsung galaxy pop which sells @ 8500 Rs, the camera is very good and have all the features like wifi, gps, 3g etc. .
