Ashraj - A Star offer some goodies like music system with speakers which Alto doesn't. If you do an apple to apple comparison on price, the difference is 25,000 only. Pranesh - If it is your first car and the mileage is a primary concern for you, go for Alto K-10. Being lighter, it should give a KM more per litre than A-Star. It is a good car in other aspects too. Same experiece with me with battery of Hero Ultra. After 5000 kms the batteries bulged and by that time the dealer who originally sold the bike was out of business.
