Lovely review of a lovely film! The film reminded me of the middle-of-the-road cinema that prospered in the seventies and the eighties. Cool Robinson Crusoe - or rather the story itself - used to be my childhood fantasy as I kept enacting episodes from the novel in my mind's theater.
