A true story of Uninor " Ab mera number hai". I bought a prepaid sim of Uninor number in Sept 2010 after submitting all the relevant documents to the retailer. The connection got activated after two- three days..oops... Next day I was told that I have to deposite my photo and id proof again as the photo seems to be fake. I went to the retailer and asked him to match my face with the photo given and tell the difference. He said it is alright sir. I submitted my id proof again with a clear picture on it. But despite that my connection was deactivated after two days. I again called the Uninor so called helpline. They asked me to submit the ID proof again . I did it again.But connection didn't get activated. I called up the helpline.they said they had received and verified the documents and the connection will be reactivated within 10 minutes. It got activated. Next morning again the connection was deactivated. called up again the helpline..one after another three persons attended my calls after repeated attempts and clarifying everything- theywere not able to give any satisfactory reply. They just told me to submit the documents again. I refused to do so due to reason mentioned above.Sent mail also to their customer care. No reply received from them even after about two weeks. Is Uninor is customer friendly or a fraud company like its reality business? Going to approach the consumer court very soon. Never beleive "ab mera number hai" Belive in " On my payment it is Uninor's private non functional number" .
