I should say, reviewing an ipod is the one of the toughest jobs. One, because I think that in this day and age carrying an mp3 player is not a necessity as we all (most of us at least) carry phones that are capable to do all that an mp3 player can do. And secondly these ipods are costlier than some of the mid range smartphones available in the market. But this blog was long overdue as it has been almost 3 weeks since the new ipods have released . And there is a certain sense of excitement for me when it comes to ipods as they are music revolutionaries.

Let us begin with the ipod nano 7th generation.

Size and weight – Barely 3 inches in size , 5.4 mm thin and just 34 gms in weight. The screen itself takes around 2.5 inches of space. 38 percent thinner than the last version .

Screen – the ipod nano has a multi touch capacitive display with a physical home button at the bottom which I guess most of the users were missing very badly. As mentioned earlier it measures at 2.5 inch in size. Bigger screen, better videos and podcasts and thousands of them are found on itunes for free.A 240x432-pixel resolution at 202 pixels per inch

Capacity – no variable capacity here, you’ll get this little fella in just 16 GB .

Colours – As always it comes with a host of colours, a total of 7 colours.

Size and weight –4.8 inches in size 6.1 mm thin and just 88 gms in weight. Lighter than the iphone

Screen – A 4 inch retina display same as the one iphone 5 dons with the same resolution and pixel density.

Capacity – Available in 32 gb and 64 gb variants

Colours – comes in a total of 5 colour variants
