So Mr. Najeeb Jung himself opposed it. 2nd- Delhi is not exactly a state- but a union territory, so certain bills must be approved by central govt. 1st before passing in state assembly. That's why even police is under central govt. and Lokpal Bill needed some consideration from central govt. Also which Kejriwal didn’t care for. 3rd- Lokpal has been passed in Orissa by BJP, so they won’t have any problem to pass it in Delhi.

• Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) gives a Lok Sabha ticket to a man who had reversed some important orders of Haryana whistleblower bureaucrat Ashok Khemka. Not only is Khemka a mascot for anti-corruption crusaders, his revelations had allowed AAP to gain political currency by pinning down UPA chief Sonia Gandhi over Robert Vadra's land deal with DLF. He had even been approached by AAP to contest the elections.
