I bought a Amaron Car battery in Nov 2017. They had given me a warranty card stating that they would replace batteries if there were any problems within 2 years or so. I typically use my car for 46 km/day for 5 days a week and sparsely being used in weekends. Initially, it worked fine and by Jan 2019, started giving problems. If I don't use the car for two days, the car wouldn't start. I gave it to a local guy to get it charged. After three times of the same problem, I called Amaron Battery Call centre and told them the issue. They sent me a mobile number of one Mr. Gopal(+919901977834) who will look in to it. Mr. Gopal sent his assistant, Mr. Hemanth(+919380527164). Hemanth found that the voltage was less. He gave a replacement battery and took my battery. They recharged it in their facility and gave it back. It again worked for nearly a month and then again stopped working if I didn't use my car for two days. I called up Amaron Customer care, this time they gave me a distributor number, Mr. Tony Pinto(+919901977831). I had an argument with this person. When I asked for a new replacement battery, he said the problem is with my car and not with the battery. He said he will send Hemanth to look in to it. Again, Hemanth came took the car battery and gave me a replacement and went back. The replacement seems to be fine. In fact, I was out of station for a few days and the car worked just fine, even after not in use for more than 5 days. It is quite clear that the issue is with the Battery but the Amaron Battery are just not willing to replace it.
