I recently had very bad experience with IFB technical support. I had an electrical issue with Neptune Dishwasher. I have been waiting for more than 2+ months now for complain to be rectified, but no solution till this writing. If someone else has similar issue, let me know so we can collectivity file a consumer case against the company. I am bringing this up so people are aware what kind of service IFB provides and let them make a informed decision before buying their products.


Here is what happened to my case:




  1. case location Indore(MP), India




  2. A case #11253233 was opened on Aug 7,2013. There was no response for that case. After 15+ days when we wanted to know the status, we were told case was closed. Question is why when never attended.




  3. A new case #11358699 was then opened on Aug 26,2013. Fault was diagnosed and were told that a electric harness part will need to be replace and will come from Goa, to Bhopal and then to Indore. Nothing happened after that for another 1 month.




  4. On Sep 22, a technician shows up with part. Spends 30+ mins with machine and declares that it was a WRONG part. Need to order correct part. When contacted Goa office again, they were quick to create yet another case. Case# 11531412. One supervisor, Devasheesh, looking at the history, said it is now escalated and it will be fixed in 24hrs. 48+ hours passed. Nothing happened.




  5. When contacted them at Goa office again, this time it was a new person and new story. This time involved the District Manager Abhishake. He promised that problem will be rectified in 2-3 days. It was Sep 22 when promise was made.




  6. Today it is Sep 27 and no words from Goa office or local service center.






It seems there is no hurry from tech department to address the issue. I had purchased the dishwasher for my elderly parent ( 60+) and sigh, they are without the machine close to 2 months now and only IFB can tell when the problem will be fixed. just hope, then when they sell consumer a product they are also diligent to fix the issue promptly.
