Bio gas is made from many sources but one source is spent wash. spent wash is obtained from distillation of ferment able molasses.for bio gas production some ratio of components are important.

1. Macro-molecules are hydrolysis to form monomers. such as fats,proteins and carbohydrates are converted into sugar,amino acid etc.

   
   




2. sugar and amino acids are biologically converted into hydrogen,fatty volatile acids,acetic

   
   

acid.

3 volatile fatty acid,propanic acid and dutric acid are converted int carbon di oxide,hydrogen and acetate.

1. acetate and carbon di oxide and hydrogen converts into methane and carbon dioxide.

Bio gas is combination of major components of methane and carbon di oxide.
