Despite several reminders through the phone as well as in writing and also thru the Mouthshut.com forum both United Airlines and Make my Trip.com remain shameless service providers.

United Airlines had cancelled their flight from New Ark to Delhi on 24.1.2016 due to Strong Snow storm/ blizzard which was expected between 24.1.2016 and 26.1.2016.

We had to buy a ticket at almost 50% higher price by paying a full amount of US$1150.00. United Airlines assured and promised that they would immdeiately refund an amount of US$750.00 paid for purchase of the ticket from them.

Total cost of travel is now US$1900.00 against the actual amount of US$750.00 which we had initially paid.Till date we have been following up with both the service providers but even the initial amount of US$750.00 paid to United Airlines thru their authorized travel agency MakemyTrip for the flight cancelled by them has not been refunded.

I am thru this forum informing all the readers that I have today thru my lawyers issued a legal notice to both these cheat firms under Sections 420 read with Section 406 IPC as well as notice under the Consumer Redressal Forum for recovery of all the amounts.

Request all readers to be careful while dealing with both these service providers.
