The BSE "Certificate Course in Capital Markets" is a 3 month part time evening course from BSE with more than half of speakers from the Industry.

Atleast half of all speakers know the subject very well practically and were intresting and informative.More 30 percent were either boring due to subject content or due to their audience attention quality or they did not share the info. they had .Remaining were not worth mentioning.

In all, the course is very good i.e. VFM -Value For Money for freshers or starters to Capital Markets who have very less Financial Knowledge in general and helps works as a helpful guide to start trading in Capital Markets.

It does not help in Price Discovery of Shares but gives you sound background of Capital Markets before starting Trading.

Fees are steep at Rs 15000 plus taxes but has student concession facility .

The half of speakers mentioned earlier makes the course intresting thoug bring atleast more 30 percent of speakers to their level will make the course more the better.

Also exams two times within the course keeps you on your toes .

Few topics are Macroeconomics ,Primary Markets ,Secondary Markets ,Other Capital Market Areas. For detailed syllabus checkout the training section in bseindia.com
