Today, at 3PM, I was having Lunch at my house with News ON on my DTH.

There was a news picked up by many news channels. It was......... which temple has collected maximum `chadhava` in terms of Gold and cash. It was told to the viewers that one temple is `No 1` in terms of Gold collection but the other one has got maximum cash on the occasion of a recently concluded festival. The Gold was 60 Kg, silver 600 Kg and the money was in crores !!

I started thinking that what was the motive to donate that much money to such places instead of preferring more noble places like to the NGOs who honestly take care of aged people or the beggars who are not able to pull on this wonderful life awarded by God only.

If no that, why do not they donate money for encouraging sports other than Cricket?

If not all this, then help the government to improve the infrastructure of the country by paying the taxes honestly.

To me these `abnormal offering` to God is nothing but bribing the God for our own wrong doings just as one offers 100 Rs note to the traffic constable for overloading the commercial vehicle.
