Every time during festival season I find that celebrations turn into grief for someone or some families. It’s always our fault to land in such situations. As the festival days approach, we start losing our cool. All of a sudden when there is increased vehicular traffic on road, there is a disproportional increase in cases of accidents and road rages.

Reason that everyone is in hurry and cannot tolerate others. Results when others are lighting candles, there is darkness in some of houses. No one is immortal but loosing life at such times is bad timing.

As festive days come close, people start visiting family and friends, with whom they were out of touch for almost full year and choose this time to keep warmth in relationships. But this is time when over little issues like parking, fights turn ugly and results in permanent enmity or loss of life of someone who was not in picture at all.

This is the time when we are looking for strengthening of relations and we find people developing grudges against each other on issues like not receiving gifts, receiving gifts but not as per their taste and standard, not receiving wishes and even the sms. That festival day we decide not to visit someone or send wishes and sms in future.

Celebrations also show the ugly face of differences in society. When you see it on faces of innocents, it really pains. Many of us think about it but don’t do anything in reality. Like we all know that sweets consumption and giving is not an ideal thing but sales of sweets and particularly last minute purchases are always on increasing side.

Let’s hope that this Deepawali nothing like this happens and we all truly celebrate it. HAPPY DEEPAWALI to everyone.
