Chennai market has seen a lot of new launch projects in the recent times. The latest launch (last week) was that of Shabari - Serenity project a well known group in the Hospitality Sector. This has seen a decent response in terms of walk-ins and bookings in the following days of its launch.
The latest mantra of residential developers across the Country has been creating affordable housing Projects. Affordability index is broadly defined by the Rate of per Sft (Price) and the Unit sizes. It is to be noted that the new launch projects are offered in the range of INR 10 - 25 Lakhs with a size variation of unit sizes starting as low as 450 - 500 Sft for a 1 BHK(Bedroom/ Hall / Kitchen), 700 - 900 Sft for 2 BHK and 950 - 1300 Sft for a 3 BHK.
It is to be noticed that the recent launch have seen a huge success by immediate saleablity of those units upto 50% to 85% sold even at theday of launch.
Plaza, a decade old Chennai based developer has launched his project in the beginning of the month and received tremendous response by selling about 65% to 70% of stock even during the 1st week of his hard launch.
