Why is that Compassion comes from the source where you are least looking at?
This query has been in my head since long. But the little experience I have (read pleasurable), makes me believe in this fact that it is a confirmed trend. We search for compassion and understanding from people we know, the people we believe in and the ones who we call our own. Yet they somehow never come upto the expectation level. This fact always disheartened me a lot. But then I realized that what you give always comes back to you in some or the other form. Just when you lose a level of empathy with one , you find another soul which has written all over it “I am here and I understand!!”
Compassion never ceases , it just grows and prospers.
If not from that source, there is always another which comes in making and brings back all that you gave. Putting it in simpler terms God’s way of sending our Karma back to us. We always reap the fruits of what we sow, so if it’s the seed of compassion we had sown it will bear the fruit when we are most hungry for it. I know that sometimes the thought arises that “Why should I be the only one to do all The Goods? I get nothing in return?”. But pardon me for not agreeing here. An act of Goodness never goes waste, in fact its like a still sea which runs deep….even when its tranquil it has something churning beneath its surfaces. Like a wave which can never be stopped from reaching the shores and washing away all in its current, Compassion also has a way of reaching out and engulfing all that comes in its way, enveloping it. And just when you think that it has been withdrawn and will never come back, it bounces back , from a new direction, drenching you completely. There you stand with a salty taste in your mouth wondering where to differentiate between sea water or tears(read happiness).
It will come in neat and surprise packages. Just when you are utmost thirsty for it.!!
Thank your Stars, Almighty or whomever you believe in if you experienced anything even near to it :)
