How many times have you pondered on this ethereal question - DOES SIZE MATTER? How many times does it bother you? What is size? A mere numeral? For those whose thoughts have plunged and are harbouring on innuendoes, let me clarify myself.

I was going through this website. I clicked a few links here and there. I saw people's profiles and also gazed at their trusted circle. Some people had  hundreds of friends whereas some had just a handful. Does the size of your trusted circle really bother you? If am a rookie, how many friends do I have?. Does that bother me? Let me move still ahead.

I then logged on to orkut, facebook, hi5 and myspace. On looking at my list there, I saw the serpentine queue and it made me think. How many of these people are actually my friends? How many of them have merely added me to make their profile shine with a girl's picture? How many of them will actually be my 'friend-in-need-is-a-friend-indeed'? How many of them are increasing their lists to just show off and then use it as a STATUS SYMBOL? I wonder. How many of them really care to find out if I have lived to see another sunrise? Will they ever stand by me or are they just content in sending me lousy forwards to satisfy their egos? In this rut of virtuality, have we lost touch with reality? (I don't even remember the last time I spoke to any of them in real.)
