Yesterday, I made a service request(no. CN0915002517), and requested the customercare to send some senior technician since the problem in my washing machine, AGITRONICS 702SD is recurring. Two people, one technician and one senior person from your service partner "Smart services", Thoraipakkam, Chennai, came to my house to attend to the persistent problem of water not coming into the machine through the inlet valve during the cycle. They did not check the machine thoroughly and said that there is nothing wrong with the machine without even allowing the machine to complete 1 wash cycle and charged me 342/- for just connecting the washing machine to my water tap. The actual problem for which I had made the service request was not even investigated and is still the same and not yet resolved. You can understand the mental agony that I am going through as I am writing you at 4 am early in the morning. I had a sleepless night and after they left, I discovered that the problem is exactly the same which is not surprising as they did not do anything at all. By the time I frantically rang up the customer care again, it was past 8 pm. So, I had to wait till morning.but I could not sleep and did a thorough check-up yet again. I confirm beyond doubts that the washing machine has a problem and not the pipeline as your service partner people had suggested. They had not even allowed the machine to complete a cycle and came and went in 10 minutes. What kind of a service is this? I request Whirlpool to directly intervene in the matter and resolve the matter. As the problem is a persistent one, I request whirlpool technicians to directly visit my premises and investigate the problem instead of sending service partners and I would like to bring to your kind attention that I am not satisfied with "Smart Services", Thoraipakkam, who has not been able to rectify the problem. I would like to re-emphasize that there is nothing wrong with the pipeline and there is something definitely wrong with the machine.


For the same problem I had filed a service request on 18th July, but due to some warranty issues and because I was out of station, it was not followed up. To exactly define the problem, water is not entering the machine during the cycle and hence water check alarm is ringing continuously. There is nothing wrong with pipeline and not a drop of water enters it during the cycle due to which the alarm goes off. For this same problem I had filed a complaint in April 2014, and I remember the same "Smart Services" people coming and diagnosing it as "airlock problem" for which we had specifically installed a airlock removal upward pipe. But the problem persisted and based on their advice, we were using start/pause button or power button to temporarily stop the alarm. Also, at first, this problem was a mild one with the frequency of alarm ringing once per cycle and slowly with time, the alarm frequency became more and more until now not a drop of water enters the machine.


Request you to send service personnel directly from your end at the earliest but I definitely don't prefer "Smart Services, Thoraipakkam", Chennai - your service partner based on my experience.
