Chowka Baara, Hopscotch, Mara-Kothi, Gilli-Danda, Chinese Checkers, Snake and Ladders.

These were the games which I cherish from childhood. But is it paining to know that many of our children don't even know their names!

My son, who is 6, asks me coyly if he can play it in the apartment! but how? Now a days with our schedules so busy, space for parks or grounds either less or not available, how can one play Gilli-Danda or Mara-Kothi!

Though I taught him to play Chowka Baara, Anugoni Mane, he is oaky to play the games over mobile or watch Youtube!

Though we have restricted, he only plays Scooty and Cycle. Wish we were in those good old days.!
