I had sent an SMS on MS 56767 regarding Konkan Kinara Restaurant at Borivli West I do not recommend the place but I could not justify myself on an SMS and I received 2 or more sms's demanding an explanation, so I am doing so in my Diary.

I was there last night.

The entrance is impressive, as you enter there is a huge fish tank as a part of the flooring it enhances the name of the restaurant.

Impressed, we decided to check it out. The interiors were nothing one could rave about but it was clean and tidy. They serve Konkan, Goan & Chinese Cuisine. We placed our order for Chinese Hot & Sour soup, Golden Fried Prawns (King Size) for starters. Jeera Fried rice, Xacuti Chicken, and Mutton Rogan –

The soup was Okay okay.

The Golden Fried Prawns were the size of a one rupee coin without any spice or taste they were spaced out on a platter maybe 10 or 12 for 200 bucks.

The Jeera Rice was okay in taste but the quantity not to standard expectations.

The Xacuti Chicken was a wash out- the pieces were what one would normally get in the cold storage, stuff they call curry pieces which is normally the scrap pieces mostly ribs and bones.

We thought we would find the Mutton dish more palatable but we were sadly mistaken. The Mutton dish came to us with tough nervy pieces that we had to battle with, so we finally gave up.

Paid a high bill and walked out with a bad taste in our mouths.

Hence I will not recommend this place to anyone on MS.
