(before I write part 6 of my life...flash back...I though its worth sharing this aricle written by I sha Judd).

There are two voices within all of us. The voice of consciousness, which comes from truth, and the voice of the intellect, which is based in fear, duality and protection. But which one do you pay attention to? In our society, the intellect rules. We give it so much power, so much importance, that we think it is who we are. We think we are our thoughts, yet our thoughts are erratic, they can change in any moment. When we identify with the intellect, we are thrown about like a raft in a storm, pulled this way and that by the capricious whims of a runaway mind.

When we start to expand our consciousness, its voice begins to overshadow the vacillations of the intellect. This terrifies the mind, which feels its control slipping away, and tries to quash the voice of consciousness. Why? Because once the voice of the heart takes charge, the mind no longer has the upper hand. The mind can only perceive within the constraints of duality, so when we start to live from union, it becomes secondary.

What happens when the mind yields its control? You start to be present, anchored within self, trusting what comes whilst sitting in a place of peace and joy. Then the mind becomes your servant, instead of you being a servant to its dualities and doubts. This frightens the intellect, and as you get closer to that point it becomes frantic. In its last desperate bid for dominance, it will try everything it can to manipulate you, and keep you in a place of fear. In those moments, just remember, if you’re not feeling joy, it’s not consciousness. It’s easy to detect. If it puts you into confusion, fear, addiction, uncertainty, it’s the head. What do you focus on, fear or love? It’s very simple to see which one to choose; you choose for the the love. Always choose the love.
