These days it seems as if women are incapable of normal delivery cause ever other person has a c-section performed by their gynec. So was wondering if it is actually that we women are really to blame or is it the gyne. This is my own plight that I had to undergo to delivery my first born.

My gyne was a very respectable senior doc of Ruby Hall Clinic Dr Shirin Venkat, those who know her will be aware how charming she pretends to be, but in reality she is looking to bait you to believing in her. Since we were aware of the history of Ruby Hall clinics, we opted for Jehangir, but even that could not save me from being operated. I was advised to go to jehangir once my water broke along with my husband went to Dr venkat's clinic where she started scolding us as according to her we had come late and she will have to perform a c-sec on me.

As predecided we went to jehangir hospital where pains were induced. Dr venkat was on phone with me coaxing me either to take a epidural or take a second opinion from a doc recommended by her. I very cooly though in labour insisted on going for a normal delivery.By next morning 5.30 am I was in labour for almost 10 hrs.

I was advised tht the cervix has not dilated enough and they will have to operate me. That is when Dr Venkat came delivered my baby along with a team of docs including her husband who is a paediatrician and during operation I was advised that the baby has 3 loops around her neck which neither did I or my husband saw.

Our nightmare does not end here. It is very common for new borns to have jaundice for the first few weeks. Her paediatrician husband was forcing us to put our baby into neo natal ward, for which the entry if somewhere around 25000, which we declined to accept as we were aware of the fact that my baby will recover on her own. On this Mr Venkat tried to scare us by saying that the jaundice can cause permanent brain damage to the baby. Also while this conversation he confirmed that they could have done a normal delivery, but did not do so as they felt that they should perform a c-sec.

Now my question is how cum earlier women used to have normal delivery for babies with loops around their necks, so what has changed?

The most likely answer is that the docs look for a easy way out coz it is profitable for them to perform a operation than being supportive with the person in labour.

Also the nurses and jr docs in the hospital are not at all supportive as they want u to think that something is seriously wrong with you and in the end u thank them thinking tht they have saved u and your babies life, where as in reality they are cheating u of ur money and u end up undergoing a unnecessary operation, thanks to your GYNECOLOGIST.
