Hdfc asking me to visit my home branch only to close my account which is in a remote area, I cannot visit the branch as I left Noida, 3 years back. I did submit the closure request at One of Delhi branch unfortunately the receipt has been misplaced as it's been long time now and they claim that the account was not closed and I am supposed to pay 10,000 for a closure. When visited the branch one day their manager started looting, kept on convincing to invest in hdfc and to transfer my salary account in hdfc, he kept on doing that and the moment I recalled him that I came only for closure he left his chamber and went home without even saying a single word. When asked to transfer my branch to a nearby location from my home so that I can get it closed later on they refused. Now I am stuck with these nasty bank, It's my hard earning money, Please pass on this message to you belongings as well.
