Now a day high blood pressure is very very common in younger age too.
It's very big challenges against new generation
Because of many basic reason like
1) life style
2) work related Street
3) sedentary life
4) lack of exercise
5) junk food..unhealthy food
6)alcohol drug users
7) family history
So all that and much more but most reason are man made...and it can be prevented, modifiable..
Eat healthy food..do regular exercise
Avoid stress..avoid drug alcohol use...
Much more but do basic thing...it very worth for good life...hope help to anything.
And yes now criteria also change previously 140/80 mmhg was took prehypertension....but now american heart association release new guidelines and it's now 130/80 mmhg or more counted as hypertensive.it due our life style.
