I had purchased replaced my car battery by an New Exide battery in March 2008. I had taken the heavy duty battery for my Indica. Today after driving for 3 kilometers and restarting the car didnt start, I saw that the casing of the battery has cracked (the plastc casing). When I spoke to the Exide centre, Mr. Bhushan he was very rude and said that battery is not covered by Warranty for these faults. He didnt listen to me, neither the dealer, I really feeel cheated as the casing had cracked becuase of its poor quality and nothing to do with any mishandling. I never expected that officials working at such a trusted and old brand will misbehave and will treat itss customers like this. This is cheating. I am going to publicise and discourage to people from buying exide all my life. I know Exide doesnt get affected by this. This has been well demonstrated by Mr Bhushan, I will have an agenda to reach as many as I can if my problem is not attended.

Please do not buy Exide, they are cheats, the quality has gone down and they do not want to take any accountability.
