There was a Gift scheme from idea to choose IDEA as cellular operator. I changed my operator from MTNL TO IDEA, from their Kwik store in Oshiwara.. I was said will receive gifts within 2 weeks, I checked after two weeks, was said will receive after the payment of the second month bill, after which I went to store, only to find it closed for good...So then I wrote to customer care of Idea. I was said now I need to collect the vouchers from BHANDUP/KURLA/SION webstores duly fill it and send it across to them and then they will send the gift to me in few days. When I am your customer, when you have all my necessary documentation, why this stupid proceidure Sir ji !!! When all my communications and bills they are sending to me by courier to my address. Cant you slip along a voucher too, above that I also offered them to pay for the courier to send me the vouchers. I have sent several email reminders, But no Reply !!! Anyone from IDEA can you explain why this unnecessary proceidure SIR JI !!!


just imagine if gifts worth 2000 per customer then how many customers they must have roped in during the portability scheme, and now imagine how much they can save on when they dont have to send gifts.. I feel these marketing gimmiks of misleading the customers have to be taken to task


I am sure many Idea customers must be taken for a ride giving the bait of gifts... and then making so difficullt for them that they cant collect the Gifts.


I will surely take them to task and will drag them to Consumer court... Friends if you also have silimar complaint, lets all join together and take them to task...
