I am watching Juno, cool movie - about a teenage pregnancy and how the teenager and her family handle it. COOL.

The 2.00 or 3.00 pm Star movies seem to go well with me.

Not too good at reviewing movies, so see the MS Reviews on Juno, but record your comments here. (I will be taking attendance children) ;)

The lead actor (Ellen Page, I hear) gave a superb performance.

The dialogues are what made a huge difference - maybe the most important factor.

Performances of all the characters, so believable, not over the top, gave the right amount of importance to everyone.

The background score (some number appropriate for the situation) was just right.

What comes across is a finely balanced movie, that has its funny, touching moments, without becoming overly mushy.

Anyway I like mushy movies. :)

PS: There are alternate opinions about the movie - see a review on IMDB which labels the movie as Manipulative and Simplistic - which seems convincing. See how fickle I am.
