The pace of mobile innovation has increased rapidly in the past few years. More and More mobile phones are coming out with faster processors with higher processing speed. And dual core mobiles are being sought out to provide efficient muti-tasking. And with smartphones usage that are closing in on the desktop usage , we need similar functionalities on mobiles. Today I bring you one of my usual round ups of the best budget dual core phones available in the market because affordability is the key to buying a phone. (All these are of Indian Make)

Chipset: The Karbonn A21 packs a 1.2 GHz processor which which is a Snapdragon S3 processor (with Adreno 220 GPU). In comparison, the Micromax A110 packs a 1 GHz , and the Spice Mi-500 packs a 1 GHz chipset, In that case, the 1.2 GHz packing Snapdragon S3 (ARM Cortex A9) based Karbonn A21 wins hands down in terms of raw CPU processing power as well as GPU speed. The Karbonn A21 wins.

Display: Display is a mixed bag. The Karbonn A21 is alleged to pack a 4.5? qHD display which is a handsome 960×540 resolution. Compared to that, both Micromax A110 and the Spice Mi-500 pack 5? WVGA (800×480) displays. Here, the Karbonn A21 might pack a slightly smaller display (if you consider 4.5? to be small that is), but the higher resolution on a smaller spread gives it a really high pixel density, easily beating the Micromax A110 and Spice Mi-500 in terms of sharpness, clarity and also reading and browsing activities. The Karbonn A21 wins.

Battery: In the battery department, the Spice Mi-500's gigantic 2400 mAh battery towers over competition. To compare with, the Micromax A110 has a 2000 mAh battery while the Karbonn A21 has a 1800 mAh battery. Without doubt, The Spice Mi-500 wins

Design: Design wise, we love both the Micromax A110 as well as the Karbonn A21. The Spice Mi-500 looks similar to the Karbonn A21, but it lacks that class. The Karbonn A21 has 4 capacitive buttons below the display, while the Micromax A110 has 3. Design wise, both Karbonn A21 & Micromax A110 tie.

Camera: The Karbonn A21 comes with a 5mp camera capabale of 720 P HD recording. The Micromax A110 comes with 8 MP camera again with 1080 p HD recording capability the Spice stellar's camera lags behind as it does not provide HD recording. The clear winner here is the Micormax A110 . So if you have an artisitic intent you're better of with the A110.

Price : The Karbon A21 is priced around Rs 10700 (local prices may vary). The micomax A110 is priced at RS 12800 and the Spice Stellar MI-500 at RS 12499. Price wise, Karbonn A21 wins again

Final Verdict - Karbonn A21 has been judged the winner (by me) in all the above deciding factors and so that is the best choice considering that it comes below 11k and you may find it below 10k at certain places.
