Karimnagar: A 22-year-old man’s throat was slit open by unidentified persons for allegedly having an affair with a girl outside his religion. The Singareni employee was killed behind a weekly vegetable market at Jyothynagar in NTPC Colony late on Wednesday night. His body was found on Thursday.

Members of Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti(MRPS) staged a dharna demanding action against the killer. The MRPS called for a bandh of Godavarikhani on Friday.
