I had given my subject phone for repairs to Micromax service center M/s Perfect Solutions, Kalka Jee New Delhi on 22.09.2015 vide job sheet no. N031818 - 0915 - 19312550. I had problem with touch screen. I was told that it has hairline crack and needs replacement which will be done at my cost which I agreed. Though I don't see any reason for the crack because the phone has never fallen down.

I was told that it will be returned to me in one week time. Till 22nd October the phone was not repaired.

To get the phone of service centre is a herculean task. The land line phone is always busy and the mobile is always switched off.

I received a mail from Micromax customer care on 23rd Oct which is as under:

"Reference to your ticket id- 123681

We understand from the service centre that your device is ready and can be collected as per your convenience.

We thank you very much for your kind cooperation and understanding during the resolution.

My reply customer care on 24th Oct through their website:

'I tried to call Micromax helpline phone no. 1860 500 8286 given in their mail. I got a message that'this phone does not exist' Then I tried to send emails to them. It has bounced back.

I talked to service centre at 10:30 today. As per them the phone is still not repaired.

Can you help me in the matter?'

No reply was received from Micromax customer care.

Finally on 27th Oct the service centre raised their hands saying that they can not give any target date for repair because they are not getting the required spare part from the company. I am free to collect my mobile phone without repair.

I was left with no alternative but to collect my phone un-repaired.

Micromax is making tall promises in their advertisements, pushing substandard products in market without required after sales service.
