As we all know, yesterday was Mother's Day. It is a day meant for loving our mothers. It is a day to show our gratitude towards her. We might have given her a present, kises or atleast wish her " Happy Mother's Day Ma''...Why is it so? Because we all love and care for our mothers. She is the one who bore us ten months.But still some of the people in our society leaves or push them to pld age homes forgetting all the things mother has sacrificed and gave him. I am here to comment upon a T.V. programme, which struck my mind.

Yesterday, at noon there was a feature on one of the famous channels. It featured on the stories of the poor mothers who were forced to live in old age homes. Suppose a person is having a stone heart. If that person see that programme his heart will surely break into pieces. Because it is the pain of a mother; her heart.

One of the journalists asked the reason why are their sons keeping them there. Most of them broke into tears while saying this. One of them said, "I became a widow after five years of my married life. My son was just two-years old when my husband died. I did kitchen works to educate him and atlast he became a high ranked officer in India. But within that time I became very old and wrinkles began to appear in my skin. One day one of his officers came to our newly built home. He thought that I am a servant and told me to go inside while they were discussing official matters. The language was really offensive. Inspite of all these I loved my son very much. One day he told that he is going abroad to work in a better company. I thought he would want me to go with him. But he told that he wants me to stay in a rental house near to his friend's house. I was not so happy, but I agreed. But the car stopped in front of this old age home and I...I." She was out of words.

Most of the other stories are like this. Some of their children want to save the money they spend for her mothers, some due to the force of their wives and so on.

Whatever be the reason, is it right to neglect mothers? This is not the same case in all places. Most of us consider our Mother as Godesses. Let these mothers get peace and happiness in their next life, atleast.
