Yes, to each their own, and I doubt someone torn between the two very different usage paradigms of Windows Phone and BB10 would have trouble choosing.

Personally, my experience with Windows Phone is as follows: I have a Dell Venue Pro (portrait slider) that I mostly use as a full touch screen. The effing lights on the capacitive buttons go out almost immediately, and I'm always pressing and holding the "Windows" logo to go to multi tasking mode, but that brings up the voice search. Oh you have to press and hold the back key to go to multi tasking mode (which is an IDIOTIC choice if you ask me). There's a SEARCH button... why not press and hold on the SEARCH button for VOICE search, and tap for text search. Or, put a frikking KEYBOARD AND TEXT FIELD on the Voice search field and you can just choose to type instead of talk if you accidentally bring up voice search?

I'm constantly "closing" apps by backing out of them rather than "remembering" that what I really "want" to do is press and HOLD the back button, not just press it, to switch to multi-tasking view. And since Skype is so important, I effing wish Microsoft could a) make the UI consistent on various devices, and b) make it intuitive at LEAST on their OWN goddamn operating system. I stare at the screen thinking "I just want to make a phone call. How?" and then I see the little ... soft menu button and, I just can't recall exactly what I have to do to get around in Skype on Windows Phone 7.8... but... I only use it once in a while for the novelty anyway, because I find I have to put the Dell Venue Pro down after a while or the phone is in serious risk of finding itself flinging across the room or out a 10th story window.

Very basic device navigation is counter-intuitive sometimes, and that's just maddening.

Does that mean Windows Phone sucks? No, it means it's not for me.

"I hope this will help someone decide between Windows Phone and BB10". But it won't. You really have to try it for yourself.
