Being budget conscious I had settled for MSI Pentium dual core T4500 @2.35GHz. I had gone for msi primarily because of their 2 year warranty(only they had offered at that time). it iss working nicely for me. 15" model which I have is a bit heavy although but works like a rock and did not give any problem in the last 1.5+ years.

RAM= 2GB , 250GB HD Nvidia GeForce 8200 M G graphics builtin, reasonably good sound output
