I’ve always been mighty fond of music ever since I can remember, as a kid I used to listen to chitralok on vividh bharati that program was sponsored by lifebuoy I even remember that as well. I used to love the Hindi movie songs and record them over cassettes so that I could listen 2 them again later on, I was so obsessed with recording the songs that I even recorded over the cassettes containing my own voice when I was an infant which my father had recorded so that I could listen 2 them later when I grew up , that time I did not regret recording over my own childhood memories cassettes , today I do , I wish I could hear me speak when I was a toddler but what I’m trying to stress at here apart from the fact that I was quite naive is the fact that I loved and still love and will always love my music

When I was in the 8th std we got cable tv and my elder sister shaleen used to watch MTV (that time it was just English music videos) and either sing or dance along, I saw my sister and then I started following MTV , I remember loving MTV jams , MTV top 20 , MTV headbangers ball , I got introduced to gangsta rap through MTV jams , ..then I loved cypress hill , coolio , dj jazzy jeff and the fresh prince , naughty by nature , dr dre , 2 pac shakur …. Rap before MTV jams for me was just baba segal saying even he is Madonna and that made me not want to listen to it but cypress hill and co made it sound really neat and got me swaying and moving my head and hands

From then on it was no turning back … ever...In college...i went to mvlu college andheri east , I got introduced to the prodigy , korn , limp bizkit , spawn ost , matrix ost ,nirvana so now apart from loving gangsta rap I also started loving alternative rock , metal

Later on after college through wcw and my brother sunny I got introduced to the music of ICP the song was “Take It” I loved it then there was napster , audioglaxy , used these clients to check out more artists like ICP … I did find em … Twiztid , Chino XL … list goes on

Today thanks to the internet, amazon, billboard, you tube and my brother bhargesh, I get to listen to the music that appeals to me and that takes me to another world something that would not have been possible back in the day
