If the oil prices are on the rise for $145 a barrel, why should India worry about it? If India is not purchasing oil for about 10 days, there will be a billion $ loss to the oil companies. Also we can start reducing the usage of petroleum products by planning each and every travel we do.

The Government need to take control on oil prices and not to favour the oil companies profit. Instead, government should acquire all the oil companies and give the oil to the country in subsidised rates.

If we people agitate against the oil prices as a whole, the oil prices will come down.
