Met up with an old friend recently, we used to attend University together and then as usual life got in our way. In college we were inseparable and lived out of each others pockets. Then years went by our communication trickled down to a few phone calls and email messages. Then to be able to meet her in person was a rare treat!! The entire day just flew by, over endless cups of cofee and the occasional bite to eat, we poured our hearts out!

It grey London rain poured incessantly outside but we were flooded with the light of happiness that only a genuine connection can bring! Nothing had changed between us, only mellowed and gotten stronger like old wine! I came back home feeling recharged and rejuvenated!

Of all the relationships in life, friendship is the most significant one!
