If you have been praying for an increase in the ATM withdrawal limit, RBI has heard your plea

After extending the daily withdrawal limit from Rs 2500 to Rs 4500 a few days ago, they have now increased the limit to Rs 10000

However, Rs 10000 is the daily withdrawal limit and there has been no extension of the weekly withdrawal limit which is still Rs 24000

The previous weekly limit of Rs 50000 withdrawal from current account has also been upgraded to Rs 100000. This also extends to overdraft and cash credit accounts

With the bank queues becoming shorter after the withdrawal limit was increased to Rs 4500, this extension will make the withdrawal process easier and hassle free for all of us
