11 March 2012: 'FRAUD' and ‘PATHETIC’ are the only 2 words which describes this resort! Dont waste your well deserved holiday and hard earned money on this disgusting resort.

The main reason for this shitty experience is the manager Mr Pradeep. He is one of those businessmen who have never heard about the concept of customer satisfaction and honesty. He will lie shamelessly just to save his ass and resources..

Here is my experience:

The website says its 1650/person/night for an AC room.

I spoke to pradeep on the phone and he gave me a deal for Rs1400 which had non AC room + breakfast, lunch, evening snacks & tea, dinner and next day’s breakfast. All food was promised ‘unlimited’ servicing.

Me and my 4 friends reached the resort in the morning. I went to the reception. Mr pradeep says its 1450/person. I asked him the deal was for 1400 and not 1450. (i had the evidence on a sms which I had send him the previous day for final confirmation). Pradeep says why am I cribbing for 50 rupees, he said he will give good service. I believed his lie and agreed for Rs1450.

The room had small bed and mini tv. But the major turn off was the big hole on the bathroom door and the ant infestation.

I asked the staff for breakfast. The staff says its 11am and we should rather order lunch. We were bit taken back by this unwanted advice Rajeev_Vermacially when we were charged for breakfast. We insisted on the breakfast.

The lunch time came. After the lunch, we decided to go for a swim but the pool was closed. Imagine 1450 bucks and NO SWIMMING POOL! They were filling normal tap water in the swimming pool. There is no chlorine in the water. So you are actually swimming in a germ filled water. DISGUSTING! We decided to go to dabosa waterfall for a swim. Before leaving, we told pradeep and his staff to arrange for bonfire for the night. They said yes and dint mention anything about the bonfire charges.

We returned from the waterfall at 7pm. We asked the staff for our tea and evening snacks. The staff says the timing for tea and snacks is over. We got angry at the staff’s 2nd attempt to deny us service for which we had paid. After an hour, he send us tea.I went to ask pradeep about the evening snacks. He says the package never had evening snacks!

We decided not to spoil our mood further and ordered from the menu . we ordered for 5 sandwiches @Rs35/sandwich. The sandwich came after an hour. The bread was stale! We called pradeep and show him. He agreed that the bread was stale.He told his staff to make new sandwich and again they gave us stale bread. So our miserable experience continues..

The staff came in the room to tell us about our dinner menu. He said we will be served chicken tandoori, mutton gravy, dum biriyani, papad, roti.

At 10am,we went to the dinner table. they served us one plate of chicken tandoori . We asked him to repeat the chicken tandoori as it was unlimited servicing. The staff says the chicken is over! 1450/ person and I got 1 plate of chicken tandoori which I shared with 4 other friends. We asked him about the dum biriyani.. he said there is no dum biriyani. We told him our menu included dum biriyani. He said it was but as there is no chicken left, so there is no biriyani. He said he will repeat the mutton gravy along with normal rice. My friends went and complaint to pradeep. Pradeep said ‘what can he do if the food was over.’ Pradeep actually took his slippers in his hand and said ‘you can hit me with me with my own slippers for not providing food.’ We got embarrassed. How can a resort manager remove his slippers and tell us to hit him with it?

We asked him we needed 10 papads for the night for our drinking session. They said we won’t get anything from the kitchen for the night. He charged us 100 bucks for 2 plates of peanuts and 1 plate moong dal. We asked them about the bon fire which we had told them in the morning. Sudden pradeep says they will charge us 300 bucks for it. From FREE BONFIRE TO Rs300!!

Our mood was totally fucked!

For Rs1450 we got nothing!! It was waste of a perfect weekend, hard-earned money and fuel. . on what basis do they charge 1650??? Pradeep is by far the most pathetic hotel manger I have ever met. He ruined our weekend. I asked myself what did we do to deserve this kind of a holiday?

Check out a resort near dabosa waterfall... I don’t know about the service but its location is lovely. It has to be 100 times better than this shithole, Sunset Point Resort
