hey people, its been long since I wrote my last diary, but seriously I couldn't think of anything to write about. but recently somethings made me think that I really need to share this with all of you. I go to my college everyday like a good and sincere student. since my college is in the city center I prefer going by my own vehicle rather than using public transport because it saves time and gives you the freedom of going anywhere anytime you want. now I don't know if its been going on for long but I have recently started noticing that people, especially boys comment, or stare, or follow, or trying to touch girls while they are travelling or walking or riding. this has been a regular scenario in the past month. I have seen this happen with me as well as many other girls at the road. and all of us face the same problem. we never react. we never pluck up courage to fight. every human being in this world has his/her very own respect. but the way I have seen this boys, be them anyone, have started taking girls for granted. and sometimes they make such cheap comments that it really becomes difficult for us to even tell it to our parents or friends, let alone complaining about them. I have seen boys following girls, this has happened with me as well. what is left with us is the frustration, because even if we want to fight no one wants to come with us. if we react and shoot back a comment at them, we are seen as indecent. and there's has always been a really big taboo about the decency and indecency when it comes to girls.i remember when I was fed up of this, I came home and I told my mom that I want to use my car to go anywhere so that these cheapsters can't judge at once whose driving. but then I thought is it worth? I mean, I can afford to travel by a car, but what about girls who cannot. the frustration within me kept me infuriated for very long. thats when I decided it to share with all of you.so I just wanted to tell you people, respect girls. they have their very own dignity in this society. and to all girls, I request to please fight against it. its high time we should. its high time we must show them that we are not going to sit quietly and let them do whatever they want to and however they want to. and to all others, I request if you see something like this happen, please stand up for the girl who is undergoing this. fighting doesn't mean hand to hand combat, it also means protest against and bad and supporting the good and innocent at the same time.
