Does it irritate when people do not answer your phone call?

To me it does, I just completely lose my cool when people do that to me. Now the whole point of carrying a mobile phone is that you remain reachable. But, if one decides to not answer the phone then – what’s the point??!

I totally understand that people are busy and at times cannot answer your phone call. But, then basic courtesy is to call back at your earliest convenience.

The most irritating person on this front is my sister. She refuses to answer my calls, text messages, anything. And then she also cribs about how I never call her?!!

Another such person is Dhakkan, who keeps telling me how I can always call when I feel like talking. How I should not stop myself when I want to reach out. Oh really!! Well, Dhakkan generally answers those un-important, routine calls.

But God forbid, if there is a need to call Dhakkan I get the same response – unanswered calls and texts.

Wonder what to call these people – reachable, approachable or plain nonsensical.

P.S. Yes, I happened to call both my sister and Dhakkan today. And true to their characters, they didnt answer. I am still waiting!
