Sony has announced two new smartphones - the Xperia T2 ultra and Xperia E1. Both aimed at markets in developing countries where phones with huge screen has become a rage. This would give stiff competition for the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Mega.

The Specifications of the Xperia T2 Ultra

1. A 6 inch 1280 x 720 resolution display with Mobile Bravia Engine 2.

   
   




2. There is a 13MP rear camera and a 1.1 MP Front Camera

   
   




3. A Quad Core Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.4 Ghz

   
   




4. 1GB RAM and 8 GB of internal st2 rage expandable using a micro sd card.

   
   




5. A 3000 mAH battery with Sony Battery Stamina mode.

   
   

The phone will be available in two variants, the single SIM T2 Ultra and the dual-SIM T2 Ultra dual, in black, white and purple.

The Xperia E1 comes with a rather modest spec sheet
