I remember, My C++ viva was there and I had not studied at all. I went for viva sumbmitted one small project and said "Mam, I hav not studied". then she asked me some question :

Mam : what is abstraction?"

I said, "Dont know.

Mam : Have you taken your breakfast today?

I said, "Yes.

Mam : What did you eat?

I said, " Kanda-poha

Mam : Do you know, how to make it?

I said, " No.

Mam : You dont know how to make poha.. You ate poha without knowing recipe. It means you dont know the background details of Poha. This is an Abstraction. "Act of representing essential features without including the background details or explanations."

ohhhhhhhh... I will never forget definition of Abstraction and hope you will never forget it after reading this small story......
