All channels have been alerting about terror attack on New year Day..........god forbid if it takes place than we will be cursed throughout the year. Why take chances better to enjoy or welcome the new year at the cosy comfort of your own backyard or home.
In 2009 there has been no major bombing except ULFA bombings and few naxalite killings. Thank god we were saved from misery of terror attacks. But the world was reeling under recession and desperation. We hope 2010 too will be free from any terror attacks and withdrawl of recessionary symptoms.
It is better to avoid crowded zones such as M.G. Road, Brigade road and other market areas, which can be target of terror. Last year I remember Pub world was closed to public considering the nuisance value of excessive crowd. Similarly this year too more pubs might follow suit. It is not worth having a binge and meeting with an accident on new year day. There has been increased incidence of drunken driving and accidents. Some who escape the clutches of law, when there is bound to be severe checking for drunken driving, may landed up with broken arms and legs.
So the morale of the story is to have sombre party or get to-gether at home. Friends take care and avoid crowding in commericial areas. Wishing you all a merry christmas and a happy new year.
