This drug is mostly used to control the acidity. (Acidity due to stress , pre-operatively, acid-peptic disorders, gastritis, zolinger-ellison syndrom, gases etc..)

It is to be taken 20mg capsule once a day & 1 hr. before mill. It has an advantage of 24 hrs., control over acidity comparing to other drugs. That’s the reason it is taken only once in a day. And it is available in capsule form which is more suitable than the bitter taste of tablet. As I have personally experienced this. I always take this capsule whenever I have to take another medicines for any reason.
