Every time I travel to Bangalore from Mangalore my home town by bus I cringe ....first of all the state of highways especially the Shiradi Ghat roads which are all but gone , but the buses have to use either the same road or the other option is Charmadi ghats which is even worse.I wonder what is needed to convince the authorities to get the work done .It has been going o for nearly 6 years and each time there is a patch work done just before the monsoons and the entire stretch gets washed away by the rains and so does the tax payers money...
