...the cautious eyes of a passerby, working towards crossing over to the other side, scared, attentive, watching out for a speeding car!!

...the sweet freshness of tender daisy petals, dissolved, diminished by the garbage truck, passing by, flooded with plastics, artificial, worthless, lifeless!!

...the construction site along the road, outlined by a bunch of felled trees, now worthless, now lifeless, now almost plastic, now almost artificial!!

...a serene thought of finding shade, by the banyan tree along the sidewalks of the road, interrupted by a whirl of dusty wind, Oh that darn truck, irritating, annoying!!

...a blind beggar along the road, teased by a couple of educated, rich college lads, irritating, annoying!!

...the grumpy old man, who spits paan, everyday on the wall of the tea stall along the bakery, and never looks back!!

...the garden, I used to go to, on sundays, now only a plot, of the government, for industralization, and commercialization, a living proof of our evolving civilization!!

...the dead dog, stray, across the road, hit by a car, dented by the front of a Wagon-R, couldnt find help, couldnt go far!!

...the taxing policemen along the road, who took a 100 bucks from me for not having an emission certificate, which costs around Rs 25!!

...the pigeons, now gathered ten feet away from me, when I try feeding them, and I try reading them, to no avail!!

Are the pigeons just plain old dumb, or am I drifting....
