Times Group is claiming they have a loyalty program by which one person can earn points for their activities in Times associated websites.I have heard couple of times that this is fake.However I didn’t believe it just because of their brand name.

I sing up few months back and earned around 25000 points(10 points=1 Rupee).Now it was time to redeem that points, so I place an order which is actually associated with Times shopping.

It was pending since last Saturday and suddenly I saw my Timespoint account is blocked(Only Timespoint account through which one can place order) and when I asked the reason,I got below reply from them

"We have noticed that you have been spamming repeatedly on Itimes.com

The content posted by you is irrelevant and indicate the use of unfair means to earn Times Points.

As a result of this, your Times Points account has been blocked and you will be unable to earn or redeem points." and when I asked proof of this,they went into silent,still no response from their end and as I heard they are not going to give reply on this.

I know I didn’t do anything which can be identified as spam/irrelevant,however this become their business to do publicity by the user and then blocked them when they are actually going to redeem that points.

This is not one time incident and it is happening with many of others too.

This kind of fraud activities should be stopped.
