My main thought for buying this vehicle to save petrol, environment and fuel expense. Ofcourse everyone have the same idea for buying an electrical vehicle. After a month I realised how stupid idea it is. The cost of the vehicle is 37,500/- now it is 40k. Such a huge cost will not give you good ride. I like to share my bad experience with you all.

I purchased this vehicle in March 2008.

The dealer advertised that government approved this vehicle on Road, But after purchasing the vehicle I came to know that the approval is still under process. Since it is 40km speed vehicle The registration is mandatory. The dealer took 45 days to get the registartion number and I answered each and every Traffic inspectors till then.

The company says the vehicle will run upto 40-50km for every charge. But I never got mileage morethan 30-35km. and they say it is two seater. But the vehicle will not carry the load more than 125km. 2 riders cannot weigh more than 60kg each.. So heavy weight guys don't ever think about taking pillion rider.

In my first service (one month), The dealer broke the seat while servicing and with out intimating us he welded the seat and gave us. After few days the seat welded broke again. I waited to fix till next service after 3 month. Becoz the distance between the dealer and my house is almost 25km. So I cannot come back with out charging again.

In my third service the Dealer welded the seat again.

After the 3rd service the problem started. The vehicle started giving low mileage less than 15km. and It stopped in the middle of the road very often. How dangerous is this?

Just think we cannot find any repair shop for this. So I have to talk a jolly walk with this bike for 3-4 kms to recharge my vehicle again.

I enquired about this to the dealer again. The dealer gave us a new showroom address which opened somehow nearer to our house.

Since six months passed third service time has come and the new dealer service our vehicle and gave it back. But we faced the same problem of low mileage and stopping at middle. One day the bike was totally dead. We called the dealer and asked to check the bike. Now the dealer came up with the new reason that while doing the welding. The spark has spoiled the battery point and the battery needs to replaced. I got really shocked do you know the battery cost. It is just 7500/- My vehicle just ran 1000km. So 7.50 rs. per km. Wow I'm holding a Benz Car to spend so much for it.

The dealer also blaming us that we haven't charged the battery properly. So it got dry and my battery warranty period is 6months and now only the manufacturer extended it to 1year. We charge our vehicle regularly and use it everyday to travel nearby places.

I decide not go for new battery and looking for selling it. But which fool will buy this toy like me?
