I know a colleague of mine, a senior cardiologist from the Army who had joined sevenhills, who was told overnight that his services were not needed. He wasent even given his 3 months notice period or paid for that. He wanted to go to court for the same but was adviced against doing so because the hospital has too much money and political clout. Court cases can drag on for years. Fortunately my colleague is doing well now and well settled in another hospital while sevenhills goes around with a begging bowl! There surely must be a God who delivers justice. One just has to be patient. As Christ said, we must be ready to carry our cross and follow Him. He has promised to lighten our burden if we place our trust in Him. One may build temples or churches or mosques or other places of worship but if the heart is not clean all that does not work. The Chairman of sevenhills sits in the corner of a large room. Most of the time he would be seen sulking & grumbling about all the bad things which he has had to undergo. As the days and months went by, his once cheerful face had turned more and more hostile and bitter. He appeared to many like a whining baby. The GM is also surrounded with pictures of Gods. He too probably thinks all these pictures will save him. They are all badly mistaken. There is a Higher Power who will protect His people.
I have mentioned this before but I think its worth mentioning again because of the seriousness of the issue. The Chairman has a number of cronies surrounding him. One of them is the GM, the gentleman who had the cheek to come to my house with another of the cronies without prior intimation , at a time when I wasent in the house. The GM evidently wanted to meet my wife but unfortunately for him my elderly father was also there at that time. He came to ’’advice’’ me not to write things about sevenhills in Mouth Shut and he even had the gall to say that if I continued to do so the hospital will be forced to take action against me! My father told him that I had every write to voice my opinions as long as they are correct. He told the GM to give him copies of the articles I had written. Well the GM went back to his safe cocoon in the hospital and never returned. I wrote a stinker to the Chairman with a copy to his crony that this action better not be repeated again. What he had done, coming to my house with a threat could have been reported to the police and, in my understanding, it is a cognisable offence where the cronies could have been arrested. This is the type of management that sevenhills has.
