The attitude is reflection of one's character. Its also the perspective or angle through which u judge the character. A person who seems impatient in work front might be very patient in his personal and family life. The way one display his virtue at any particular point of time or place is all depend on the situation, his attitude towards that and his experiences. If a person is left out with no choice but to show patience, then definitely he will become patient. So it is that if you have options then definitely u will display a character that is easily reachable not the one which is hard and struggle full to achieve. In earlier days, I agree that great virtues belonged to a very small class or group pf people, because more than 90% persons didnt have any particular aim or target in life, they just passed their life, only very few were there with that zeal and enthusiasm to make their life useful and achieve something.

If you observe persons around you, u will find exemplary characters and virtues like courage/endurance/patience in them. Its just that we need to appreciate a virtue and should try to make them realize that they have it, only thing is they need to exploit it where they think it is not needed/or they have options not to show them.

I also believe that the sense of winning or achieving something in life is all about how you see urself. If u r in a race against a person/time, then only in rare chances u will feel sense of achievement. But if you keep urself as ur competitor, then there is always a chance of achieving new heights, goals and marks on day to day basis. Also, sense of achievement or satisfaction comes from inside. Its just the way u see things. So, one only needs the right attitude or nature to do that.

One more important thing is that one should always learn from losses/mistakes of oneself and also from others, because one life is not enough to get two chances for everything, where u gain experience in first ,learn from mistake and then apply it in the next chance.
