Branch office: To start a branch office of a Foreign Company in India, the foreign Company needs to produce the following documents:

Liaison office: To start a Liaison office/ Representative office of a Foreign Company in India, the Foreign Company is required to produce the following documents:

1. Audited balance sheet for the last 3 years audited

   
   




2. Certificate from the qualified accounting professional that the company is making profit in the last

   
   

3 years 3. Attested copies of the Foreign Company Registration papers etc.

Project office: The Project office is permitted if the Foreign Company has got a contract in India and hence the documentation includes the following:

1. Attested copies of the Foreign Company Registration papers

   
   




2. Last three years audited balance sheet

   
   




3. Contract related documents etc.
